Every spring semester, the Associated Students, Inc. hosts a general elections for their incoming Board of Directors. These elections are monitored by the ASI Elections Commissioner and the ASI Program Coordinator, and the ballot count is managed by Big Pulse Online Voting Services and Software. There are a number of events during the school year to help students get to know their potential candidates personally and to become more familiar with the voting process. As an organization that speaks on behalf of the students, it is important to let your voice be heard and vote!

MEET YOUR 2019 – 2020 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The following candidates ran in the ASI General Elections for the 2019 – 2020 academic year and were voted by the students to serve as their advocate. These students will step into their positions officially on July 1, 2019.

Itzel Marin - Director of Student Services

Cindy Romero - College of Natural and Behavioral Sciences

ELECTIONS EVENTS 2018 – 2019

Events that have passed may include video or photos from the event.

  1. CANDIDATE FORUM

    The first of two Candidate Forums where students at CSU Dominguez Hills have an opportunity to learn more about their 2019 – 2020 student government candidates. Candidates had an opportunity to share their platforms and where they stand on campus wide issues, as well as answer questions directly from the students they plan to advocate for.

  2. COMMUTER OUTREACH

    Grab some free coffee and a doughnut from your ASI Elections Candidates. Earn some one-on-one time with the students that plan to advocate for you and et to know them before you cast your vote.

    This event will take place at the Bus Stop from 5pm to 6pm. Coffee and doughnuts while supplies last.

  3. CANDIDATE DEBATE

    Ask your candidates how they plan to advocate for you and learn what makes each candidate different. Afterwards, enjoy some food and refreshments while mingling with the candidates.

    This event will take place in University Housing Building A from 3pm to 4pm.

  4. Candidate Forum 2018

    CANDIDATE FORUM

    Meet your ASI Elections Candidates and get an opportunity to ask them any question about their platform or their stance on campus matters. Food and refreshments will be provided (while supplies last).

    This event will take place on the East Walkway from 1pm to 2pm.

    March 18 is your first chance to vote! Be sure to check your ToroMail for directions on how to cast your vote.

    All students that vote will automatically be entered to win various prizes.

  6. asi mixer

    CANDIDATE MIXER

    March 18 is your first day to vote! If you need last minute questions answered or would like to get to know your candidates better, the DH Sports Lounge provides a fun and laid back environment to get ot know everybody. Food vouchers will be offered to students that participate (while supplies last).

    This event will take place in the DH Sports Lounge from 4pm to 6pm.
