TAP Grant

]The Technology Resource Fee (TRF) Committee is calling for proposals for the 2017-2018 fiscal year.  Associated Students, Incorporated (ASI) Technology Advancement Program (TAP) Grants are available for the California State University, Dominguez Hills campus community. The mission of the California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) Technology Resource Fee (TRF) Committee is to develop, support and enhance the technological skills of our students. The Committee will distribute funds toward projects that will help students learn, succeed and compete in an increasingly technological world.

The ASI TAP Grant process involves three phases. In Phase I, a letter of intent and TAP Grant Application must be submitted to the ASI Technology Resource Fee (TRF) Committee no later than November 22nd at 3p.m. Both forms must be TYPED. In your letter of intent, please briefly describe the concepts of your proposal and who will benefit from the grant.  Refer to pages 5-11 of the Technology Advancement Program Grant Proposal Packet for additional information on writing your letters of intent and proposals. You may visit our website at the following link to access documents:

Please read the packet completely and carefully. The TRF Committee has guidelines and instructions to apply for the funding.  The letter should be no longer than one page typed.  It should also include your specific financial request, including any applicable charges for tax and shipping. You must also include the TAP Grant Application with your letter of intent. Submission of this letter and the application will complete Phase I of the process.

The TRF Committee will respond to all intent letters during the week of December 15th 2017.  All approved letters will proceed to Phase II, where a more detailed synopsis of the proposal will be requested for consideration for grant approval.

Once again the deadline for Phase I is November 22nd, 2017 at 3p.m. Please keep in mind that all of the deadlines throughout the TAP Grant process are firm. No late or incomplete forms will be accepted in any of the TAP Grant Phases.

Good Luck! We look forward to hearing from you.
